In order to get your permit, you need to fill out a DL 144 DMV Permit/Driver's License Application Form. This form can not be downloaded from the California DMV website. You will need to pick it up at a DMV office, have DMV mail the form to you or get one from the BakkersDrivingSchool.com Office/Classroom.
